Yesterday(Monday) we went on Eureka.com.We took a test titled My true colors. It's to help us find a list of jobs that sorta fit our personalities. The test consists of 3 colors. Gold, green, blue, and orange.I got 18% Gold, 12% green, and 10% for both blue and orange. Gold 's definition is you may value order and cherish the traditions of home, family and country above all other colors.
You sometimes provide for and support the structure of society. Steadfastness and loyalty are your trademarks. Generous and parental by nature, you show you care by making everyone do the right thing, and by making yourself and others take responsibility for their actions.
You tend to be matter of fact, realistic and more interested in the tangible product, than in the idea or theory behind it. You are excellent at following procedures, rules and regulations.
You may prefer a work environment where duties, responsibilities and the lines of authority are clearly defined. You may feel most comfortable and valued where employees are rewarded for dependability and hard work. Your personal values usually include an appreciation for thoroughness, pragmatism, punctuality and efficiency.
The definition for green is may be the most reluctant of all the colors to do things in a traditional manner. Greens tend to be natural leaders.
They respect competence and intellectual abilities both in them self and in others. They may want to understand and control the realities,of life and are on the lookout for new projects, new activities and new procedures. They are usually the driving force behind any organization, or activity in which they participate.
Having control can be very important to Greens because it represents the power to acquire the multiple abilities on which they pride themselves. Greens tend to feel best about them self when they are solving problems and their ideas are recognized. Many Greens become entrepreneurs and work for themselves, because of their need for innovation and control.
They can succeed in a variety of occupations as long as the job does not involve too much humdrum routine. They tend to lose interest once the work is no longer challenging.
As employees, Greens may work against the system just for the joy of being one-up on the person in authority. Greens must guard against this tendency, because this can make for a very unpleasant work environment and can lead to dismissal. However, Greens can be a tremendous asset to any work environment that values their analytical, independent and ingenious nature.
Green sound a little more like me than Gold.Computer engineer is listed under green and sounds like a lot of fun.
